Lid  B. Wong, PhD
President and Chief Scientific Officer

Dr. Wong, a cofounder of Cardiacconect Corporation, is responsible for the oversight and development of the company's technologies and their strategic competitive advantage in a highly competitive market place. He is the prinicpal inventor of the CardioDataPad Technologies. Prior to forming CardiacConnect, Dr. Wong held positions of Associate Professor in Bioengineering and Research Assistant Professor of Medicine at the University of Illinois at Chicago (from 1987-1997). He was also a cofounder of BioTechPlex Corporation (1988-present). He still serves as Chief Technical Officer as well as a member of the Board of Directors. Dr. Wong received his PhD in Bioengineering from the University of Illinois at Chicago at 1987.  Dr. Wong served as a reviewer for multiple scientific journals and is a member of an NIH study section, primarily involved in the review of SBIR grants and Ad Hoc R01 since 1998.
